Statement of Faith

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe:

· In the verbal inspiration of the Bible;

· In One God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and the Holy Spirit;

· In the divinity of Christ, His virgin birth, vicarious death, bodily resurrection and ascension;

That all have sinned and and need God's forgiveness;

· That salvation is God's free gift, received through faith in Christ alone;

· In the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit to empower the believer for life, witness and service;

· In water baptism and the Lord’s supper;

· That sickness and poverty are not God’s will for His children and that healing body, soul and spirit are provided for us in the atonment;

· In the Second Coming of Jesus: firstly, to catch away the living saints and secondly, to reign on the earth;

· In the bodily resurrection: eternal life for the redeemed and eternal judgement for those who have rejected Christ.
